Our Training Programmes
We run different training programs and groups because not everyone needs the same.
Choose from:

Please note: All of these choices are beginner friendly; we run a number of advanced options which are open to those who have already reached a good standard.
Kung Fu.
Self defence, fitness, confidence.
The original martial art, made famous by the Shaolin monks of China, still as effective today as it has ever been. We practise the Tiger - Crane style, favoured by the old masters of China for its effectiveness.
The Tiger - crane style begins by strengthening the entire body (internally as well as externally) and building a stable stance and posture. Fast, devastating striking ability is then developed. Discipline, respect and restraint are emphasised as this style of martial art is extremely effective.
Kung fu training builds a strong healthy body and a sharp, confident mind. Classes are divided according to age:
- Teens (13 and up)
- Adults (17 and up)
- Mature Adults (35 - 50s)

Kick Boxing.

We practise Chinese kick boxing (San Da) and are lucky enough to have the Olympic bronze medallist on our instructor team.
Kickboxing is a competitive form of martial art which develops a high degree of cardiovascular fitness. It emphasises kicks, punches, throws and takedowns. Training involves a lot of sparring.
We have a very successful team who regularly win British titles and who have, to date, won six world titles. We welcome those who aspire to become the next generation of champions.
Classes are divided into :
- Juniors (7-12)
- Teens (13-16)
- Adults (17- 35)
- Also available a separate women's classes.
Tai Chi.
Relaxation, vitality, awareness, meditation, balance, co-ordination.
We practise the sun- frost white crane art (shuang yang pei ho) and the Tong Ling chi kung system.
This is a gentle form of exercise ideal for those wishing to regain their basic health and achieve greater vitality and wellbeing. It involves developing the body's intrinsic energy or 'chi' and opening the meridians - the energy channels through which chi flows.
The body is trained to become more relaxed and supple.
The mind is nourished with increased chi and oxygen.
Training involves basic meditation, the performance of 11 basic exercises and a 66 step routine. Relaxation, balance and breathing techniques are emphasised. Advanced students have the option of pursuing the martial applications of this art and deeper forms of meditation, energy manipulation and internal development.
Classes are divided into :
- Teens
- Adults
- We have students aged up to 80!
Junior Martial Arts.
Confidence, concentration, defence, discipline, respect, co ordination.
Content is based on Shaolin kung fu together with a little kick boxing and basic self defence. Lessons are fun but disciplined. Training is progressive starting with basic co-ordination, posture and balance then progressing gradually to more complex martial arts techniques.
We have one of the UK's best junior competition and demonstration teams and have produced two junior world champions.
Children are treated with respect and their safety is very important to us.
Separate groups for children aged 3-4, 5-6 and 7-12 years so that teaching can be pitched at the right level.
